Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all events organised by Lighthouse Artcourses, including but not limited to Sketchwalks, Watercolour (Aguarela) Sessions, and multi-day Art Escapes.

1. Registration & Participation

Participation is open to adults and, where explicitly stated, to minors accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
By registering, you confirm that you are physically and mentally able to take part in the chosen activity.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation conditions depend on the event format and are communicated clearly on the respective event page or booking confirmation.

– Short sessions (Sketchwalks & single-day workshops):
Cancellations must be made by 8:00 PM on the day before the event to receive a full refund.
Later cancellations will be refunded for the cost of art materials only (15 €).
No-shows are non-refundable.

– Multi-day events (Art Escapes):
Specific cancellation and refund terms are stated in the individual event description and booking confirmation.
In general, deposits are non-refundable, while remaining payments may be partially refundable depending on the cancellation date.

All cancellations must be made in writing via email.

3. Liability & Assumption of Risk

Participation in Lighthouse Artcourses events is at your own risk.

By participating, you agree to hold harmless and waive any liability against Lighthouse Artcourses and Grażyna Ostrowska for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, losses, thefts, or damages that may occur during or in connection with the event.

You acknowledge that:
– You are responsible for your own health and safety.
– You are covered by valid medical insurance during the event.
– Activities may take place outdoors and may involve uneven terrain, urban environments, travel on foot, and exposure to weather conditions.

4. Health & Safety

Weather conditions: Events take place in varying weather. Please dress appropriately and bring sun protection, water, or warm layers as needed.
Physical requirements: Activities involve walking, standing, and carrying basic art materials. If you have concerns or special needs, please inform us in advance.
Personal responsibility: Participants are expected to remain attentive to their surroundings and act responsibly at all times.

The organiser reserves the right to modify, relocate, or cancel an event due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be informed promptly.

5. Photography & Media Use

By registering, you grant permission for photographs or short videos taken during the event to be used on Lighthouse Artcourses’ website, social media, and promotional materials.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please inform the organiser before the event.

6. Emergency Contact
Participants may be asked to provide an emergency contact name and phone number for safety reasons.
